Welcome to the website terms and conditions. Please read through them carefully before placing your order with us. By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please also read our Privacy Policy Statement regarding personal information provided to us by you.

We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time without any notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

Once your order has been placed, we will usually not be able to make any changes, but do make contact with us and we will do all we can to assist you.

This agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with English Law and industry custom and practice, and English courts shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising there from. In respect of Internet sales, jurisdiction or the agreement shall be with English Law and it shall be deemed that any agreement is St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, irrespective of any rule of contract dictating otherwise.


We currently offer two delivery options: Royal Mail Special delivery and 2nd Class Standard delivery

Royal Mail Special delivery: We aim to deliver all mainland UK special delivery orders one working day after the day you place your order with us, for orders placed before 12pm (GMT).

2nd Class Standard delivery: We aim to deliver all mainland UK standard orders in 1-4 working days. However, sometimes during sale periods or other busy periods, deliveries may take longer. If you have not received your delivery within 7 working days, please contact us. Please note however that Royal Mail do stipulate that a delivery within the UK isn't classified as missing until 15 working days have passed.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands and AB postcodes will take longer to arrive. We aim to deliver 2nd Class Standard deliveries within 5-7 working days to Northern Ireland and AB postcodes and 7 working days to the Highlands and Islands. During busy periods, please allow up to 7 working days for delivery to Northern Ireland and 10 working days for delivery to the Highlands and Islands.

Deliveries to Channel Islands and BFPO Addresses will take longer to arrive. We aim to deliver 2nd Class Standard deliveries within 7-10 working days. If you have not received your delivery within 15 working days, please contact us.

We currently offer standard 1st Class Airmail delivery to European and Worldwide destinations. Unfortunately Special delivery is not available at this time.

UK Bank Holidays (if applicable): please allow an extra working day for standard deliveries. Please note that Special Deliveries will not be delivered on bank holidays.

All times given for despatch or delivery are approximate and time shall not be of the essence. The buyer agrees to allow 30 days in any written notice making time of the essence and further agrees to accept full liability in respect of delayed or late delivery or dispatch. In any event, delivery times are approximate and variable. When delivery is effected to the purchaser directly or to an independent delivery contractor as agent for the purchaser, risk shall pass to the buyer immediately.

The buyer is required to notify the company, in writing, of any shortage, miss delivery or other discrepancy immediately, or at the latest within five days of such failure, thereafter the buyer shall be liable for any such discrepancy. Where delivery is effected to the buyers own delivery contractor, loss or damage in transit claims should be made directly to the carrier. The company will assist purchasers in making their claim. Buyers should retain all packaging in the event of a claim or return within the terms of this agreement.

International Delivery Times and Costs

There are no import/export duties on goods shipped within the European Union. All goods shipped to EU countries already have the relevant VAT included.

Shipments sent outside of the European Union are sold exclusive of VAT and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages destined outside the European Union, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask, or expect us to do any of the above. For details of Customs charges please consult your own Customs authorities for the latest rates.

Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances. Sometimes International orders can take longer than specified above. This is usually down to your own countries internal postal system.

For smaller low value parcels & packages we will despatch your item via Airmail, which is a Royal Mail service. No signature will be required on delivery of your order. Please note that due to the economy nature of the Royal Mail service it is not possible to trace a delayed parcel until 28 days after shipping.

For higher value parcels & packages we will despatch your item via Signed For Airmail, which is a Royal Mail service. A signature will be required on delivery of your order.


All promotions running on the Cycle Clothes site will be actioned in accordance with the terms and conditions specified on the individual promotional item pages.

Price and Payment Options

We accept Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo and PayPal.

If you have paid on your debit or credit card you will be charged as soon as your order is placed regardless of stock levels. Should we be unable to fulfil your order and an alternative item cannot be supplied, a refund will be made back to your original method of payment.

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the rate appropriate to the country of receipt, where within the EU, and are correct at the time of entering the information on to the system. The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge.

Further information for overseas customers

The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card company. Customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any customs/import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, therefore you are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements in your country before placing an order.

Credit Card Validation

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the check-out stage.

In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the IMRG Security Alert or any other Fraud Prevention Scheme. At all times where we disclose your information it will remain secure. Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode follow the same principles as Chip and Pin, by helping to protect your card against unauthorised use when you shop via the Internet.

How it works

When you reach the checkout process at (or any participating retailer) you will have the opportunity to register for either Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. Simply sign-up for the service following the online instructions that are linked directly to your card issuer, set up your new personal password once your card issuer has confirmed your identity, and continue shopping.

This is a one-off registration process, so you will be able to use the same password for all future purchases you make with participating retailers.

Alternatively you can contact your bank directly to register, or visit Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode for more information.

Please note: If you choose not to register during the checkout process, depending on your card issuer, we may not be able to process your order. A different method of payment will be required to complete your purchase.

Returns and Exchanges

We offer a very easy exchange and refund policy. If you change your mind within 30 days of receipt of your order, we will gladly exchange it or refund the purchase price, whatever the reason providing that it is returned in perfect re-saleable condition. Exchange subject to a small admin charge.

Please ensure the following:

If you wish to exchange an item - please check with us in advance to make sure we have the item you want in stock, so that we can reserve it for you. ONLY then return your item for exchange.

Goods must be unworn and in perfect condition as when sold. Ensure all outside packaging is sealed and has enough postage paid to ensure its safe arrival. For added security and peace of mind, it is worth considering Recorded Delivery, which is trackable.

Return it to the address below with original barcoded packaging, all tags intact and with your receipt, name and address. Please state the reason for return of your goods, along with which size and colour you wish to exchange your item for.

Postal charges where exchanges are requested:

We will require £1.50 (in the case of light items) or £3.00 (in the case of heavy items - Cycle Jackets and All Weather Jackets only) towards admin and the cost of posting the item you want back to you by 2nd Class Post if it is a UK address. For overseas customers, please email us to check the rates of postage prior to returning the item to us.

Postage costs can be paid by cheque (made payable to Tenn Outdoors) or by cash. In the case of coins please sellotape together and secure within your packaging. Failure to send adequate postage will result in the delay of replacing the item, whilst we contact you to recover these costs.

Faulty Items

In the unlikely event of your garment being faulty or developing a fault please contact us for advice.


If you require a refund, please state this clearly. We normally process refunds within 2 working days of receipt of the item and funds are returned in the same way as the original payment was made.

7 Day Cooling-Off Period (EU Only)

In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations EU customers have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase. Order cancellations must be made in writing to us, quoting your order number. In this case, we will provide a full refund of purchase price but you must return the cancelled items to us. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost.

Product Information

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Unless otherwise stated, sizes indicated are UK sizes. Please refer to the size guide for clarification.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).

Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock then we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative or a refund.

Purchase of Products

When you place an order on our website we shall email you an acknowledgement. Our acceptance of an order does not take place until dispatch of the order, at which point the purchase contract will be made.

Once you have checked out and your order has been packed you will not be able to make any changes to your order, so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the confirm button.

Any discounts triggered by the entry of a promotional code may not be applied until the order is accepted but will be detailed on the invoice.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:

  • The product ordered being unavailable from stock
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
  • The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion

If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. If the item has been dispatched simply return the goods to us for a full refund.

Your UK statutory rights are not affected by any of the above.

What information do we share with others?

We may contract with other companies to provide certain services, including credit card processing, shipping, name and address verification, email distribution, market research and promotions management. We provide these companies with only the information they need to perform their services and work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected.
